2017 Annual General Meeting & Convention
May 4-7, 2017, in Sarnia Lambton
In May of 2017, Ontario’s Chamber Network gathered together in Sarnia Lambton to chart the course for the year to come.
The OCC Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Convention represents one of the most significant opportunities for chamber leaders from across the province to come together to network with peers, debate policy issues that are of significant importance to the Ontario business community, and to shape our advocacy agenda for the year ahead.
Date: Thursday, May 4 – Sunday, May 7, 2017
Location: Holiday Inn Sarnia/Point Edward Hotel & Conference Centre
Registration: Closed for 2017
The development of policy and advocacy on behalf of the Ontario business community is at the core of our business. As a grassroots organization, the activities of Ontario’s Business Advocate are greatly enhanced by the participation of our members – chambers, boards of trade, and corporate – on our policy and advocacy priorities.
The OCC’s AGM & Convention allows members to learn from subject experts, debate policy resolutions and formulate the OCC’s annual advocacy strategies. Our annual financial reports are also made public to our membership at this meeting. Local Chambers bid to host the AGM & Convention so the Chamber Network can see and learn about all areas of our province.
