Diversity Makes for a Winning Business Strategy
Of the $360 billion spent by Canadian corporations and government on procurement annually, only 3% goes to diversely-owned suppliers. Outstanding Canadian businesses are seizing on emerging trade opportunities through bridging new connections to suppliers, communities, and countries overseas. These businesses demonstrate how diversity-in-supply chains can be leveraged to enhance innovation and productivity.
In partnership with RBC, the Diversity Business Network invites the Ontario Chamber of Commerce members to participate in the 2012 Canadian Supplier Diversity Conference.
The conference is open to all companies that would like to grow their business and become more competitive through integrating supplier diversity into their business strategies.
The conference features a dynamic mix of speakers, including:
Michael Coteau – MPP for Don Valley East & Parliamentary Asisstant to the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport
Peter Wilson – Vice President of Product Delivery, Infrastructure Ontario
Pradeep Sood – Past Chair, Ontario Chamber of Commerce
To register for the Conference, which takes place in Toronto on Friday March 23, 2012, please see the registration page of the Conference website.
