Letter to Minister Dwight Duncan on Corporate Income Tax

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) has submitted a letter to Finance Minister Dwight Duncan on the need to stay the course with scheduled corporate income tax (CIT) rate reductions.

The letter stresses the fundamental role CIT rate reductions play in attracting foreign direct investment. The letter also calls upon the government to follow through on its commitment to businesses, who more than ever are looking to the province for a stable policy regime and responsible fiscal and economic stewardship.
