Eric Prud’Homme was appointed Director, Public Affairs and Communications, Americas regions at Bombardier Transport in July 2017. In this position, he is accountable for internal and external communications, public relations, external Affairs and branding for Bombardier’s Rail division in the Americas.
Prior to joining Bombardier Transportation, Eric served as Senior Manager, Stakeholders and Aboriginal Engagement, Eastern Region, for Enbridge overseeing the successful reversal of Line 9B. He also served as Vice-president, Strategy and Public Affairs for The Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, the voice of over 7000 members in the Montréal business community. Earlier in his career, he has worked in several communications roles such as Communications and Policy Advisor for two Quebec Cabinet Ministers, Director of communications and Marketing at Groupe Pierre Belvédère, Product Manager at L’Oréal Canada and Director of Development at Class Afloat.
In addition to be involved in his community, Eric has a keen interest in the arts, politics and off he beaten path travel destinations. A born adventurer, Eric has developed his sense of leadership circling the globe for a year-and-a-half aboard a Tall Ship.
He holds an MBA in Marketing from HEC Montréal and a master’s degree in European Studies from Katholieke Universitet Leuven, in Belgium. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Studies from Bishop’s University and took part in a one-year student exchange with Lund Universitet in Sweden.Back to steering committee
